India’s largest bank SBI (State Bank of India) ‘s corporate website and digital banking system (including the internet banking and it’s popular YONO app) was down. The outage was reported since Monday 22 July.
The users were not able to login to the website or the YONO app. So, all digital transactions were down.
SBI customers complaint about the issue through Twitter. The customers who try to access the website for the message “The requested service is temporarily unavailable. It is either overloaded or under maintenance. Please try later.”
The bank has not yet released an official statement about the outage.
Here are some of the response of the users on Twitter:
“why SBI online system is not working. This is down from the last 7-8 hours. Is there anyone working to fix this issue (national bank system) and when this will be resolved?” wrote user named Vinod Chauhan.
Another user named Gaurav wrote: “SBI collect website is not opening since the morning causing serious problem to us. Please take some action to the earliest.”
According to some SBI insiders, the website undergoes regular debugging in weekends and the exercise could take longer

Moreover, The SBI has restored all the services and now you can do all the transactions.
After restoring all its services, the bank replied to the users on Twitter that “Dear Customer, we regret the inconvenience caused. We are working on it and will be back soon. Thanks for bearing with us.”
