PM Shri Narendra Modi addressed at RAISE 2020 AI Summit-‘Responsible AI for Social Empowerment 2020’. A Mega Virtual Summit on Artificial Intelligence (AI) held on October 5. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and NITI Aayog. Are organizing the Mega Virtual Summit AI, RAISE 2020 from Oct 5- Oct 9, 2020.
The summit’s inauguration was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alongside Amitabh Kant, Arvind Krishna, CEO of IBM, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, Union IT minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Turing Award winner Prof. Raj Reddy, and Ajay Sawhney, Secretary of MeitY.
Moreover, The event highlights the importance of Artificial Intelligence in day to day life and its various applications is revolutionizing the Giant industries of India. PM added that teamwork of AI with humans can do wonders for our planet.
Also, He encouraged the world’s largest unique identity system – Aadhaar and the world’s most innovative digital payments system – UPI. That enabled access to digital services, including financial services, like Direct Cash Transfers to the poor. In a pandemic situation, it has enabled in reaching out people to help, fast, and in the most efficient manner.
