In this critical situation of COVID-19, a special fund programme — PM CARES FUND — has been set up in our country to help and relief the people affected by disease. But, according to Maharashtra Cyber Police Officials, frauds are using fake links to deceive people in the name of online donation towards PM CARES FUND.
Many fake links have been traced by these officials which are made with an intention to cheat people and extort money from them. Along with a sense to responsibility towards the nation people must be alert during such transactions. Officials have told people to use proper and authentic link for such purpose — pmcares@sbi. Also they have disabled the fraud links for safety of citizens.
