Hacker group Unc0ver has now claimed to have developed a new tool that will now be able to jailbreak the latest version of iOS which is 13.5. as reported by Wired.
The jailbreak, which works on iOS 11 and higher, is built on a zero-day vulnerability, doesn’t drain a device’s battery life, and doesn’t affect the use of Apple services or undermine the iOS sandbox security,

The tool is not open source also the hacking group has not informed anything about the vulnerability in the operating feature. Jailbreak for information is similar to the root in androids which provide extra features for the users. Jailbreak provides features that can be used for customization of apple devices that apple would restrict.
The jailbreak adds exceptions to existing rules, and “enables reading new jailbreak files and parts of the filesystem that contain no user data.”
