Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced two prepaid plans all over India — Rs. 2,399 plan and Rs. 699 plan. BSNL made this announcement through its Chhattisgarh Twitter account.
BSNL Prepaid Plans
Rs. 2,399 prepaid plan comes with 600 days of validity and 250 free minutes of outgoing calls/per along with 100 free SMS/day. However, this BSNL prepaid recharge offers no data pack. Also, this plan presents free BSNL Tunes for the first 60 days of recharge.
Rs. 699 plan provides validity of 180 days instead of the usual 160 days validity. It offers the same calls and SMS benefits. Additionally, it offers free 500MB data/day.

As Rs. 2,399 plan does not have data benefits, user has to rely on other data plan. In this plan, as no data benefits are offered, every MB that a user consumes will cost 25 paise. Again, if the FUP limit for calls gets crossed then the user has to pay Rs. 1/minute and Rs. 1.3/minute for normal calls and STD calls respectively. Also, when free caller tunes for the first 60 days get ends up then charges applied to continue the pack are Rs. 42 per month.
