How to Move Your Whatsapp Group Chats to Signal?

Whatsapp is facing backslash due to the upcoming privacy policy. Today Whatsapp pushed a server-side update to show status stating that the new policy won’t affect the privacy of users. Not only this but also Whatsapp delayed the policy by 3 months which means your account will not deactivate on February 8.

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has also filed a petition in the Supreme court against the new privacy policy of Whatsapp urging to withdraw the policy. Follow the below steps to move your Whatsapp group chats to Signal

  1. Open the Signal app and click on the three dots in the right-hand corner and create a group.
  2. Set the name of the group and add participants.
  3. Click on the group settings and then tap on the Group Link.
  4. Turn Group Link On and then tap the Share option.
  5. The above step will copy a link, Now simply go to your Whatsapp Group and paste the link. Now, your friends can click on the link and start sharing in the new group!
