Several apps like Zoom, Google Meet providing people to interact with their colleagues and now Jio is also going to land his foot in this market with his upcoming app Jio Meet
Jio is going to release a new video calling app namely Jio meet. The app will be similar to Zoom and Google Meet and will rival these apps on the video calling field. However, the date of release is yet to be announced but the app has been under development for a few weeks.

This app will be available for android and IOS devices both and also via a web browser. Interestingly the website has already been live and shows a message “Thank you for your interest in Jio Meet”.
Jio Meet app is also going to be integrated with the Jio eHealth Platform so that users can consult doctors online and can also order medicines. The senior VP of Reliance Jio Infocomm Pankaj Pawar said that “We are just a few days away from offering this to all the Indians so that they will be able to leverage this in the most secure environment and at the same time in a ‘grandma easy’ kind of platform so that anybody and everybody can use this,” Pawar further said that “Jio Meet is a platform which has much uniqueness – it actually has an ability to work on any device, any operating system, and it has an ability to do a complete collaboration”.
