Nintendo’s Super Mario Maker 2’s last update will launch on 22nd June and is bound to contain a plethora of new enemies, power-ups, wearables, and a brand-new Worldbuilding mode.
As announced by Nintendo itself in the overview of the Mario Maker 2’s final update, the game will now have a world maker mode where up to 8 worlds containing a total of 40 user-created courses can be combined, this allows the players to create a miniature Super Mario Game.
The game will now also feature the seven Koopalings, with their distinct movement patterns, Phanto and Mecha-Koopa. Along with these new enemies, new parts for course creation will also be added in the final update of the game. Wearables to return the classic looks and skins from the old games are also featured and multiple new power-ups are also added.
In “World Maker” mode, multiple courses created by a user can be tied together on a path from the starting point on a world map to the end castle. The look of the world map can also be customized. Up to eight worlds containing a total of up to 40 courses can be combined, creating a mini Super Mario game that can be shared with others.
