2020 iPad Pro Leaks Suggesting Triple-Camera Setup

Leaks for the next iPad Pro models have surfaced online suggesting new designs about the newer models. The leaks suggest that the new models will be updated to the iPhone 11 Pro triple-lens setup style on the 11-inch and 12.9-inch models. The leaks also suggest that the models won’t include any major changes in design and retain Apple’s Face ID for biometric authentication and have similar dimensions as previous iPad Pros.

The new 2020 iPad Pro models are speculated to launch in March 2020 along with the company’s low-cost iPhone SE 2. The newer 11-inch iPad Pro will likely have an aluminum back, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro may launch with a glass back panel and seen in the leaks. The dimensions of the 11-inch iPad Pro have also leaked – 248×178.6×5.9mm, with a camera bump of 7.8mm as seen on the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Pro Max models. The iPad Pro models are also supposedly coming with 3D sensing.

Apple is also speculated to use a ToF (Time of Flight) system which measures the time taken by light to bounce off of objects in a room to generate a 3D map. In September Sonny Dickson who has a good track record for revealing unannounced Apple products, posted an image of the new designs highlighting a similar triple camera setup as of the present iPhone 11 pro models along with a LED flash. There are rumors of a higher refresh rate display too.
