Adobe Critical Software bug Security Update – February 2020

Adobe has released the latest security update for five of its most widely used software that has patched more than 42 vulnerabilities out of which 35 are classified as high severity.

Adobe Framemaker | APSB20-04

The vulnerability in the Adobe Framemaker, Adobe FrameMaker is a document processor designed for writing and editing large or complex documents, was affected with 21 security vulnerabilities contained, 16 of them are Out-of-Bounds Write, Memory Corruption, Heap Overflow, Buffer Error that could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.

Adobe Acrobat And Reader | APSB20-05

12 critical, 2 moderate and 3 important level severity vulnerabilities have been fixed by Adobe in Acrobat Reader that could lead successful exploitation of arbitrary code in the context of the current user. 

Adobe Flash Player | APSB20-06

One critical vulnerability of Type Confusion in Adobe Flash Player for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS could lead an attacker successful exploitation of arbitrary code execution.

Adobe Experience Manager | APSB20-08

Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), which is a comprehensive content management solution for building websites, mobile apps, and forms. The successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could lead to DoS attacks rated as Important severity.

Adobe Digital Editions | APSB20-07

Adobe has also patched critical Buffer Overflow and command Injection vulnerability that could lead to arbitrary code execution and Information Disclosure in the context of the user.

The company has not found any publicly available exploit of the above-described vulnerability but it recommended to install the latest patches for the software.
