World’s First Customizable Smartphone by Lava. On Thursday, Sunil Raina President and Business Head of Lava announced the budget-level smartphones. After many years Lava is going to enter the Indian market. During the launch event, Lava Launched World’s first customizable Smartphone along with other smartphones.
The company’s customizable smartphone series Lava myZ was the highlight of that event. Also, Lava Launched 4 other smartphones naming Lava Z1, Lava Z2, Lava Z4, Lava Z6, and Z UP program. The smartphones launched at the price range of Rs 6,999 to Rs 9,999.
Lava myZ and Z UP Programmes
The lava myZ program is the world’s first indigenous smartphone program that will offer users to completely customize their smartphones. The myZ program will allow the customer to choose from 66 combinations of cameras, RAM, ROM, and color. The other program Z UP will allow Z2, Z4, Z6 owners to upgrade their smartphone’s RAM and ROM. However, the RAM and ROM can be upgraded within one year of purchase by giving the only incremental price.
Lava Z1
The Lava Z1 is an entry-level smartphone by Lava. “The aim to upgrade feature phone users to smartphones,” said Sunil Raina. The smartphone comes with a military-grade build and features a 5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Additionally, the smartphone includes a 5-megapixel selfie and rear camera, MediaTek Helio A20 SoC, 2GB RAM + 16GB storage, and a 3,100mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs 5,499. It will be available on Amazon and offline market from 26 January.
Lava Z2
The lava Z2 is a budget-level smartphone priced at Rs6,999. The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display, 13+2 megapixel dual rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek G35 SoC with 2GB/32GB storage. The Lava Z2 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging and ultra power saver mode. Also, it comes with Android 10 Go which will offer a clean and bloatware-free experience.

Lava Z4
The Lava Z4 is a budget smartphone priced at RS8,999. The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a 2.5D curved panel. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek G35 SoC with 4GB/64Gb storage. When it comes to the camera the Z4 packs a triple rear camera setup of 13+5+2 megapixels and a 16-megapixels camera on the front. The Z4 packs a 5000mAh battery. Also, a fingerprint scanner and Android 10 for a clean and bloatware-free experience.
Lava Z6
The lava Z6 is a smartphone that is focused for multitaskers. The Z6 smartphone is quite similar to the Z4 smartphone. The Z6 is powered by MediaTek G35 SoC with 6GB/64GB storage. Also, similar to Z6 concerning display, camera, battery, and software experience. The Z6 is priced at Rs 9,999.
