Whatsapp Finally Addresses The Old Problem of Chat Spamming

One of the oldest problems of not being able to mute abrasive WhatsApp groups has finally been solved in its yet to launch 2.20.201.10 update.

According to the 2019 census taken by Statista, WhatsApp has over 340 million users in India alone making it the preeminent country in terms of audience.

This data is more than enough to show how much of an issue has group spamming has become for people who like to maintain a clean social media.

A huge number of people often join a WhatsApp group out of formality and are stressed with the uncountable forwards they receive on a daily basis. Whatsapp has finally addressed the issue and come up with a permanent solution.

According to a report given by WABetainfo which reports about the upcoming updates and fixes of WhatsApp. This is a beta update and may not be available to all the users at this point. The customers who haven’t registered for the beta program have to wait for a little longer. However, those who have already should be quite happy.

In the forthcoming update, the “1-year” option may replace by “Always” as you can see.

So if you haven’t registered for the beta program yet, you’ll have to wait. One thing for sure that this update will bring is the relief from never-ending notifications of baseless forwards. A number of other updates bring numerous changes to the app about which we will keep you updated.
