PUBG Mobile Might Come Back In India With JIO Partnership

Currently, PUBG Corporation is in talks with the Telecom giant Reliance Jio to unban PUBG Mobile in India. If all goes well Reliance Jio will look PUBG Mobile’s distribution within the country.

According to the reports PUBG Mobile developers are in talks with Reliance Jio to take on the responsibility of the distribution of the most popular battle royal game within the country. It might happen that PUBG partners with Reliance Jio in India.

There are chances that PUBG Mobile might come back in India.

Recently the Indian government had banned 118 Chinese apps including the PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile lite. After the ban within days, PUBG officially announced that they had broken partnership with Tencent.

According to reports by Sensor Tower, PUBG 175 million installations from India alone that accounts for a quarter of the worldwide installation.

However, on the legal side, the revenue splitting is under discussion whether they will share equal revenue or Reliance will give fixed revenue on the number of visits per month. 

But, it might be a question about PUBG partners with Reliance Jio because Reliance Jio has already gained a lot of investment during the lockdown.

There might be chances that PUBG Corporation will partner with Reliance Jio as Reliance Jio has all services when it comes to being a game publisher.

The gaming industry is expected to grow ₹25,000 crores by 2022 in Indian, currently, it is around ₹6,200 crore.
