LG is planning to launch LG Velvet next month and ahead of the launch event, its specifications have been listed on the South Korean forums Meeco.kr. Also, the tipster Sleepy Kuma (@Kuma_Sleepy) tweeted the same specs on Twitter. Let us see what we have got for this one.
LG earlier released a 35-second short video, which showcases that it will be having “’Raindrop’ camera” design, and the cameras and the flash module is vertically aligned. The volume button is placed on the left edge of the phone with an additional button. The power button is placed on the right edge of the phone. The 3.5mm headphone jack, the USB Type-C port, and the speaker grill can be seen placed on the lower edge of the phone, while the SIM card tray along with the microphone, and a couple of antennae lines is placed on the top.
The LG Velvet is expected to have the following specifications and price:
- Speaking of its design, it measures at 167.1×74.0×7.85mm and weighs 180g. Also, it comes with IP68 certification.
- According to the design, it will have an in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers, coupled with AI-powered sound.
- For the camera, it will be having a triple-rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary lens (with OIS), an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor lens. In the front, there will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera that will be housed in the waterdrop-style notch.
- For the processor, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 765 5G SoC.
- It only has one storage option i.e., 128GB storage with an 8GB RAM, Here, the storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
- It will pack a 4,300mAh battery along with fast charging, It might also feature wireless charging support.
- LG earlier revealed that it would be available in four different colors, i.e., Aurora White, Aurora Gray, Aurora Green, and Illusion Sunset, and the same details are confirmed by the leaked specification sheet.
