The very famous learning portal, NPTEL that now falls under Swayam Central by the Indian Government has introduced a new free course on blockchain technology.
The course entitled “Introduction to Blockchain Technology and Applications” is an 8-weeks learning program starting from February 24, 2020, to April 17, 2020, by Prof. Sandeep Shukla of IIT Kanpur.
The level of the course is Postgraduate. The course outlines the introduction to Blockchain, Cryptography, Hashing, Keys concept, Hash puzzles, Bitcoin, Scripts, Mining, Ethereum, Hyperledger, and Applications including E-Governance.
The course is approved by AICTE and absolutely free for the learners. While if someone wants to give an exam for the certificate from IIT-Kanpur then there is a charge of INR 1,000. The examination date of the course is April 25, 2020.
