Asus, the Taiwan based company, released its new flagship phone this week, Asus Zenfone 6. This is said to be the successor of the flagship Asus Zenfone 5Z. It was unveiled in a press event in Spain.
It comes with the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC, and dual-camera setup. Zenfone 6 is company’s first phone with motorized flip primary camera setup. The primary shooter has a dual camera setup which rotates about axis when needed to be a selfie-shooter. Such a setup was seen a month back in Samsung Galaxy A80, but still Asus has served this with much simple design. Asus has also inserted a fall-protection for camera module, which automatically retracts the camera to its base position if it detects sudden movements. The Asus ZenFone 6 runs on Android Pie out-of-box with company’s Zen UI 6, which further will be upgradable to Android Q and Android R. It supports dual sim and features a 6.4” Full HD+ screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It comes with octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6/8 GB RAM and Adreno 640 GPU. It has a massive 5,000 mAH battery to handle extensive gaming and all-day-work. Other specifications include USB Type-C, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS connectivity.
