Samsung recently launched its S series phones and the most powerful one is the Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra. Let’s compare it with Apple’s latest and most powerful phone yet, iPhone 12 pro max.
DISPLAY
The S21 Ultra is equipped with a 6.8” dynamic AMOLED display. The refresh rate is 120hz and the peak brightness is 1500 nits. The display is protected by the latest Gorilla glass Victus.
iPhone 12 Pro Max on the other hand is equipped with a 6.7” Super retina XDR OLED display. the refresh rate is 60hz and the peak brightness is 1200 nits, a bit less than the S21 ultra. The display is protected by gorilla glass.
BATTERY
The S21 Ultra is equipped with a massive 5000 mAH Li-Po battery. It can fast-charge at 25W and 15W wirelessly. The handset also supports 4.5W wireless reverse charging.
iPhone 12 pro-Max is equipped with a 3687 mAh battery. It can fast-charge at 20W and wirelessly charge on 15W. It is advertised that the phone charges to 50% in just 30 minutes.
CAMERA
S21 ultra has a quad-camera setup with a 108 MP main camera, 10 MP periscope telephoto camera, 10 MP telephoto camera, and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. This phone can take 8K videos at 24fps, 4K videos at 30fps or 60fps, 1080p videos on 30/60/240fps and 720p videos at 960fps. The phone also features a 40 MP selfie camera that can shoot 4K videos at 30 or 60fps
The 12 pro max on the other hand has a triple camera setup with a 12 MP primary camera, 12 MP telephoto camera, and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. This phone can take 4K videos at 24/30/60fps and 1080p videos at 30/60/120/240fps. It is equipped with a 12 MP selfie camera that can shoot 4K videos at 24/30/60fps and 1080p videos at 30/60/120fps.
PROCESSOR
S21 Ultra is equipped with the latest Exynos 2100 which is a 5G based chipset and is available in the international market. Whereas USA and China models have Snapdragon 888 processor which is also a 5G based chipset.
Apple iPhone 12 on the other hand is equipped with Apple A14 bionic chip which supports 5G.
