Our favourite online social app Whatsapp is now going to get two video call options.
The report from WABetaInfo shows has the WhatsApp Android beta version 2.20.139 is been seen with the shortcut namely “Room”. The users will find this shortcut in chat/group share sheets.
To use this feature, the User has to select Room then WhatsApp will show an explanation of the feature that this room will be created in messenger. The same shortcut will also be added to the call tab when the user will try to call contacts. When you allow the app to continue in messenger to create a room the messenger will open and it will create a room to video call.
However, It also shows a notification that says “Rooms are protected by messenger encryption and privacy controls, but they aren’t end-to-end encrypted”.
Clearly, this feature is a new tool the WhatsApp developers have announced to set foot into the video calling apps market that’s been on a roll since the coronavirus outbreak.
This messenger room is all prepared to become on this week in some of the countries and in the next few weeks for rest of the world to use as this feature is already available in Beta versions users to use It will be interesting to see how this new room feature works on WhatsApp since they already have added 8people video or audio call option in Whatsapp.
