Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 5 XL aren’t likely to debut anytime soon and here we have a render that shows the back of the Pixel 5 XL. This render showcases some similarities between the Pixel 4 and Pixel 5 XL. The render is about the presence of a triple camera setup on the back.
The render is showcased by the YouTuber Jon Prosser through a video on his channel. Prosser said that the source of this leaked render is “extremely trustworthy,” after verifying the news by himself.
The design showcased is somewhat comparable to what is included on the Pixel 4. So, there’s a soft matte glass back with a glossy camera module and, this camera module appears to have three distinct image sensors, in addition to a wide-angle lens.
During the video, Prosser also mentioned that he was also able to see the front of Pixel 5 XLthat has a forehead – similar to the existing Pixel phones. But, he didn’t provide any renders that show the front panel of the smartphone.
Google is hosting its I/O 2020 starting May 12 where it is likely to unveil the Pixel 4a and it would be much affordable than the Pixel 5 and 5 XL, which they might launch in October.
Just like any smartphone maker, Google typically tests the various modules to make a new layout. It is possible to have some adjustments over what we see in the render. Also, the camera configuration appears to include a divisive design that isn’t liked by everyone.
