Microsoft recently unveiled a new app for android and iOS combining Word, Excel, and Powerpoint in its “Ignite” conference in Orlando, Florida. The preview is now available on Playstore and on the Apple App store in beta testing.
Android users can download the preview app by clicking here. For Apple users, Apple’s TestFlight program is restricted to 10,000 users. You can join the flight program by clicking here.
The best thing about the app is that it will consume less space on your device. A new Actions Pane is added too that helps the user to complete common mobile tasks from a single place. Moreover, you can now snap any file to convert it into an editable word or excel file on a click of a button.
Users can now get easy access to sticky notes to jot down important details. Digital images can be enhanced with the Office Lens feature.
With the Action Pane button, you can scan QR Codes to open any links. You can create PDFs with your camera and from images of the device too. Signing PDFs can be done with a finger.
The simplicity, efficiency, and capability of the office will increase with the new app. Microsoft also announced the release date of all-new Microsoft Edge Browser. The browser will release on January 15.
