Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro aka the Flagship Killer 2.0, are official smartphones now. Following months of waiting, leaks, and official previews, on Tuesday Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand announced the new Redmi flagship smartphones at a Beijing launch event. The unique smartphones reveal how Xiaomi doubles on the Redmi brand after rolling it off at the beginning of this year as an independent brand.
The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones are an attempt by the manufacturer to gather consumers who are willing to spend a little more than a classic Redmi customer in order to gain flagship grade and premium experience. The devices are going to sit at the leading edge of the smartphone portfolio of the brand. In the press event, Redmi also announces that the Redmi Note 7 Series is a massive success that over 10 million phones are sold in just 129 days.
For fans of the Avengers franchise, the Redmi K20 Pro also gets an Avenger Edition exclusively for China.
