The American stock exchange company Nasdaq 100 announced that zoom video communication is joining Nasdaq on April 30. Zoom shares started rising on Friday after the announcement of Nasdaq joining hands with zoom. Zoom shares rise 5% on Friday morning after the announcement.
Zoom app has been on a roll since lockdown has been initiated due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Zoom hits 300M global users and is set to replace Willis Towers Watson in the Nasdaq 100 index. Once these stay-at-home orders start to get relaxed, then it will be interesting to see how Zoom will perform against the competitors.
