The successor of Huawei Mate X – The Mate Xs is expected to be launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020. A new report claims that the device will cost lesser than the Mate X. The Mate X is supposed to come with a stronger display and improved hinge design.
The Huawei Mate X is more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The Mate X is currently only for sale in China for CNY 16,999(roughly Rs. 1,76,000) or about $2,400.
The Smartphone giant has made many adjustments in the design of Xs compared to the Mate X, citing Chinese publication MyDrivers.
Reports also suggest that the Mate Xs will be smaller than the Mate X in overall size while retaining the same size. The Mate Xs will have an improved hinge mechanism along with a more resistant and tough screen. As seen in the Mate X, the Mate Xs will launch without access to Google services and apps with a Kirin 5G SoC.
