Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition Launched: Old TV

Xiaomi recently launched its new Smart T.V. The name of the T.V is quite big when compared to the given specifications. This Smart T.V runs on Android Pie (Android 9). At this time Android 12 Beta has been released and this T.V has two-year-old software. But it isn’t too bad also. It has some interesting specifications also.

Specifications

This Smart T.V has a 40-inch LED-backlit LCD panel. It is also a Full HD panel which is good. The screen resolution is 1920 X 1080 pixels and has a 60Hz refresh rate which is good for a T.V. It also provides 178 degrees viewing angle. It is packed with two 10W speakers which combine to give a total output of 20W. As discussed earlier this T.V runs on Android 9. It has a built-in Chromecast and many other features which include the Mi Home app, Mi quick wake feature, and many more. To enhance the viewing experience it has Vivid Picture Engine which is Xiaomi’s proprietary color profile. It also has Google Play Store and Google Assistant. It also supports all the latest streaming applications.

This Smart T.V has a 64-bit Amlogic chipset consisting of 4X ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores. The GPU used here is ARM Mali-450 MP3. This whole system is paired with just 1 Gigabyte of Ram and 8 Gigabyte of internal storage which might be sufficient to run the T.V smoothly. It also supports single-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2. There are 3 HDMI ports, 2 USB ports, Ethernet port, 3.5mm headphone jack, etc.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition will go on sale from June 2 on the Online platform, Flipkart. It is priced at 23,999 INR which is a decent price for a T.V like this with an outdated OS.
