A Facebook bug Exposes Instagram user’s personal details such as personal email and their birthdays Instagram users. The security bug was discovered by an experienced Bug hunter Saugat Pokharel from Nepal.
Instagram, a photo, and video sharing platform that promises to keeps your emails and other data private exposes personal emails and birthdays of the users.
The attack used Facebook’s Business Suite tool, available to any Facebook business account, according to The Verge reporting. In simple terms, if an Instagram account was linked to the Facebook Business Suite tool and was included in the test group it would show additional details of the account including their emails and birthdays.

Also the security researcher Pokharel said that the security bug was worked on those accounts that were set to private and account that were set to not accept DMs from the public.
The bug was only accessible for a short period of time, as the experiment was started in October. The company doesn’t disclose how many users were given access to the feature, but it says that it was a small testA Facebook spokesperson said
