COD: Mobile partnered with Sony Entertainment for Esport world championship

Activision has partnered with Sony to launch the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship Keeping the worldwide COVID19 lockdown. The championship is planned to start on 30th April 2020.

Called the Global Tournament , Not much information is revealed about the same.

Call of duty is famous for its modern warfare, call of duty warzone, call of duty blackops, and many more.

Chris Plummer, Vice President of Mobile at Activision, said “We are very excited to launch our highly-anticipated competitive tournament in Call of Duty: Mobile. As the next-evolution in our fan-favorite Ranked Play, this tournament format gives eligible Call of Duty: Mobile players a chance to compete with players from around the world for cash and prizes.”

Players who earn at least 80 points across their first 10 ranked games each weekend will be able to progress to the second stage of the World Championship.

Beyond the prize pool and the Start date, no further information has been revealed. The eligible participants will not be allowed to use any 3rd party application or any external device to play the game. The only thing which will help is your skills.

The COD is soon expected to release more information about the championship in upcoming weeks.
