POCO F3 GT Launch Near: Rebranded Redmi K40

POCO is set to launch another smartphone, POCO F3 GT. Suspiciously this smartphone reassembles the previously launched Xiaomi K40 gaming edition smartphone. It is just rebranded with a new name. Companies do this to ensure more sales of their smartphones. POCO is a Sub-brand of Xiaomi. Obviously, this trick is used over here to reach out to more people. Big companies such as Samsung also use this trick. Many of the “M” series smartphones reassembles the smartphones in its “F” series which is currently limited in India. The specifications of this smartphone are rumored so let us check out what this phone is expected to be packed with.

DISPLAY

It has a 6.67 inch OLED display. The screen can display HDR10+ content and colors up to 1 billion. The resolution of the display is 1080 X 2400 which is standard at this price point. The maximum brightness is 500 nits and the PPI density is 395. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

BATTERY

POCO F3 GT is packed with a 5065 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery. This smartphone supports 67W fast charging. As per the advertisement this phone claims to be charged from 0% to 100% in just 42 minutes. This is amazing. Single batteries cannot charge at this much high power so they divide a single big battery into two individual batteries that divide the fast charge and charge individually.

CAMERA

This smartphone is packed with amazing features and it also has an amazing camera system. At the rear, there is a triple camera setup. It has a 64 MP primary camera, 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. The rear cameras shoot videos in 4K, 1080p, and 720p. The front camera on the other hand is a 16 MP sensor that can shoot 1080p and 720p videos.

PROCESSOR

This smartphone is supposed with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G. Out of the box, this smartphone runs on Android 11 and MIUI 12.5. The sad part here is that this smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor instead of an under-display sensor despite having an OLED display.
