Huawei MatePad Launched with 7,250 mAh battery

Huawei has finally launched its Huawei MatePad this Thursday in China. This new MatePad is the down-graded version of the Huawei MatePad Pro 5G that was launched in November 2019. It comes with the M-Pencil stylus support (not included inside the box) and it does not support 5G connectivity, unlike its Pro variant. Also, it comes with an education center, which is likely an app for kids.

The Huawei MatePad will be having the following specifications:

  • Speaking of its design, it measures at 245.2×154.96×7.35mm and weighs around 450g. On the back, there is a single camera module.
  • A 10.4-inch (2000 x 1200 pixels) IPS Display with a punch-hole design and thin bezels.
  • Speaking of the camera, it will be having a single rear camera setup with an 8-megapixel with autofocus along with a LED flash module. In the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera housed in the punch-hole design.
  • Camera features include professional mode, panorama, HDR, filter, watermark, streamer shutter, time-lapse photography, dynamic photo, and other shooting modes. It also supports function settings such as skin beauty, smile capture, voice control photography, timer photography, etc.
  • Additional sensors include a color temperature sensor, an ambient light sensor, a gravity sensor, a compass, and a hall sensor.
  • It is available in the following storage options 64GB and 128GB. Here, the storage can be expanded up to 512GB with the help of a MicroSD Card.
    • 4GB RAM + 64GB (WiFI) variant & 6GB RAM + 128GB (WiFi) variant (Model No. BAH3-W09)
    • 6GB RAM + 128GB (WiFi + LTE) variant – (Model No. BAH3-AL00)
  • For the processor, it will be powered by an octa-core Huawei Kirin 810 SoC with Mali-G52 GPU and comes with up to 6GB RAM.
  • It will pack a 7,250mAh battery along with USB Type-C charging.
  • Connectivity options include LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.0.
  • It will operate on Android 10 with the touch of EMUI 10.1.
  • The phone will be available in two different color options Night Ash and Fritillary white.
  • The phone is available for pre-booking and set at a price of:
    • CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 20,420)  for the 4GB RAM + 64GB (WiFI) variant.
    • CNY 2,199 (roughly Rs. 23,640) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB (WiFi) variant.
    • CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 26,870) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB (WiFi + LTE) variant.
