The next phone in the Redmi K series is the Redmi K30 5G which will be launching next month in China. There haven’t been many leaks but new live images have surfaced the internet. The design is similar to as shown in the teaser poster. It has got a thick case around it to prevent the design from leaking
The phone has received 3C certification in China which has revealed that it will support 30W fast charging technology. It has got a Dual-camera set up in the front in a hole punch style screen, which was confirmed in the teaser poster via Xiaomi.
The main anticipated feature, confirmed in the leak, is the 120Hz display. The settings page in the leaked image show an option to switch between 60Hz and 120Hz, which is great considering battery usage as 60Hz will preserve the battery longer.
In the leaks, the phone is running the AIDA64 app which shows that the Redmi K30 5G will have a 6.66-inch 1080×2400 pixels (Full-HD+) display with 365ppi pixel density and 120Hz refresh rate.
The processor isn’t confirmed but the leaks show that the GPU is Adreno 618. Currently, the Adreno 618 supports graphics on Snapdragon 730 SoC and Snapdragon 730G. The Adreno 618 has been designed for mid-high range processors of the Snapdragon 7xx series. These are significant upgrades from the current Redmi K20.
