Roberto Escobar the brother of Colombia’s most famous drug lord, Pablo Escobar, has launched a foldable phone which can supposedly be destroyed only by fire.
Earlier this year, he accused Elon Musk of copying his idea of flamethrower.
The Escobar Fold 1 is a foldable phone which will take on the likes of Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X at a much cheaper price.
The phone’s promotional video on YouTube has women, in scantily clad clothes, showing off the Escobar Fold 1.
The specifications revealed are 7.8inch AMOLED FHD Plus display made of a special type of plastic which is much durable and can only be destroyed by fire as per the claims. It also includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and up to 8GB of RAM. There are two storage variants, one priced at $349 which has 128GB of storage and another variant priced at $499 which has 500GB of storage. The phone runs on Android 9(Pie) and has a dual-camera setup. The primary camera is a 16MP sensor and the secondary camera is a 20MP sensor, it also has a 4000mAh battery and dual SIM support.
The phone looks like the Royale Flexpai which was shown earlier this year, but at such a low price you can’t complain considering the amount of tech you are getting.
Roberto Escobar claims to take on the likes of Apple and has also told he is going to file a lawsuit against Apple for selling worthless phones to the consumer on January 6
