Build Apps Without Coding With Amazon Honeycode

Amazon Web Services has launched a beta version of Amazon Honeycode through which any user can develop Mobile or Web Apps without coding. This initiative is for non-coder so that they can too build apps. Zero coding knowledge is required to build apps with Honeycode.

AWS built database is used to develop the apps. There are two plans for the use of HoneyCode. The first is free while the upgrade one is paid. In the free plan, The app can be used for free up to 20 users and access to 2,500 rows of a spreadsheet is given. HoneyCode users are named ”Builders” by the company. Reminders, notification, and approval workflows within the service can be integrated.

Customers have told us that the need for custom applications far outstrips the capacity of developers to create them. Now with Amazon Honeycode, almost anyone can create powerful custom mobile and web applications without the need to write code.

AWS VP Larry Augustin

The beta version of HoneyCode is available only in the western state of Oregon, United States. The idea behind HoneyCode is that the use of AWS will become broad to non-programming users. Non-Coders can build a variety of apps ranging from task-tracking apps for small teams to project management apps.

The database can be scaled from 2,500 rows to 100,000 rows per workbook easily. SmugMug and Slack users are the first to get this beta HoneyCode. The use of spreadsheet as data interface is chosen with the fact of ease of interface.
