China surprises the world with the different-different latest technology and this time ahead of 2020 Beijing Winter Olympics, China has launched the autonomous bullet train between Beijing and Zhangjiakou.
The driverless train is capable to reach the speed of 350 Km/hr that is the journey of 108 miles will be covered in ~45 minutes. There is 10 scheduled stoppage at 10 stations near to the sporting venues of the Olympics 2020. The driverless high-speed train project got done in a time period of four years.
A monitoring attendant will also be there in case of emergencies. The cabins are specially designed featuring 5G connectivity, Wireless charging port, touchscreen control panel, smart lighting and safety sensors. There are special storage areas for winter sports equipment too.
For passengers at the platform, there will be the use of a Facial recognization system as well as robots to assist passengers with Check-in, luggage, boarding, and directions.
