Concept One Smartphone From OnePlus Teased Invisible Camera

OnePlus has recently teased new details like “Disappearing Camera” of its Concept One Smartphone. The prototype of the device will be showcased at CES2020 on January 7.

In a tweet from OnePlus, the invisible camera is teased. The camera changing technology is based on the color-changing technology of glass. The effect is produced by an electrochromic sheet of glass on rear-side cameras.

According to a report from Wired, The Chinese smartphone maker company OnePlus dealt with British Automotive Company, McLaren to bring the concept of higher-end car sunroofs and aircrafts windows to Concept One Smartphone. The glass can be switched between tinted and opaque with just an electric signal.

The phone represents a “bold exploration for OnePlus, and is also a representation of overcoming a lot of challenges.” With this approach, we’ll be able to produce smaller amounts of the product and, with feedback from a small group of users, look at the possibility of making a device that’s available for users more widely

Pete Lau, the OnePlus cofounder and chief executive

Concept One Smartphone will feature a 48MP main camera and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The rear cameras become visible when the user opens the camera app while it will remain invisible when the camera isn’t open. The Camera disappearing feature will provide an anticlimactic experience to the users.

There is no leaks or evidence of other specs like RAM, Internal, Processor, etc. of Concept One from OnePlus
