In between this pathetic situation, the mobile company Bharti Airtel has announced to extend prepaid plans of more than 8 crore customers thus, relieved its users across the nation till 17 April.
In addition to this, the company has declared talk time of worth Rs 10 to each of its low-income categories, 8 crore customers. This assistance will help them call or send SMS to their family members and relatives. Again, the company has decided to continue the incoming calls even after the validity is over.
BSNL, adapting the same scheme for its prepaid users, will restore the mobile numbers whose mobile numbers have expired during the lockdown period. Also, a talk time of 10 rupees will be put on each number. It has already extended the bill submission period for the postpaid customers up to 31 March.
