During the coronavirus pandemic, Reliance Jio and BSNL revised their data packs with extra benefits to the users. Both telecom companies introduced Work From Home packs to let people use data connectivity amid coronavirus crisis.
Reliance Jio introduced Rs. 251 WORK FROM HOME pack in which users will get 2GB high-speed data and post-completion unlimited data at 64Kb/s for a time period of 51 days. It is to be noted that there is no voice call or SMS benefits for the users in this pack.
While BSNL introduced free WORK@HOME pack but it is not applicable for the existing BSNL broadband users and can be applied for existing or new landline users. The pack is free for one month from the date of activation while users need to pay for later months.
Users will receive a data benefit of 5GB at a speed of 10MB/s and post-coverage speed limits to 1MB/s for unlimited data.
Jio has revised many plans which are as follows:
