HTC Desire 19s – New in Market?

HTC was the leading smartphone brand but now it has faded out from the industry, so every year they release some of their smartphones so that users can keep in mind that HTC still exists. So, this time they’ve launched HTC Desire 19s the successor of Desire 12s, their latest and budget phone. There is nothing exciting about this one but still, we’re covering this one because of its brand name.

Desire 19s packs an octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with MediaTek Helio P22 (12nm) SoC. It features PowerVR GE8320 GPU and it only comes to a single variant i.e., 32 GB ROM & 3 GB RAM with Blue or Black color options.

There’s a 6.2 inches, IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display with a 19:9 ratio. Also, it features a single camera (16 MP, f/2.0) with waterdrop notch and we got triple camera setup in the rear

  • 13 MP, f/1.9, 26mm (wide), PDAF
  • 5 MP, f/2.2, 13mm (ultrawide)
  • 5 MP, f/2.2, depth sensor

It comes with a non-removable Li-Ion 3850 mAh battery and Battery charging at 10W. Speaking of sensors it includes Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, compass & NFC.

This smartphone doesn’t excite me in any way because there are many smartphones out there with some good specifications within an affordable price range. But still, it’s an HTC product so it is worth to cover. This smartphone is only available in Taiwan right now at the price of TWD$ 5,990 (roughly Rs. 14,200). We don’t know when they’ll be launching this affordable smartphone in India or globally. So, stay tuned with us for future updates.
