Samsung Raises The Bar With Galaxy S11

Samsung has leaked insights on its latest upcoming smartphone Galaxy S11. The phone is set to release on February 2020 and roll out in the markets by spring 2020. Samsung hasn’t disappointed us with its flagship screens. The Galaxy S11 series will supposedly be leading the pack with its gorgeous screen. It is expected to run on Android 10 (also Android Q) with One UI 2.1.

According to the new report, Samsung Galaxy S11 will come with four different onboard storage options. The SM-G981 Galaxy S11 model will be available with 128 GB and 512 GB of internal storage. The SM-G986 will offer 128, 256 and 512 GB options while the SM-G988 will get other three options in addition to a 1 TB option. However, no signal has been given by the company regarding MicroSD card which was absent in its predecessor S10.

Samsung has also announced the launch of its new processor integrated with 5G modem. The Exynos 980 processor integrated with 5G modem will save power and space resulting in better efficiency. The processor will add support for 2G, 3G, and 4G networks and reach a downlink speed of up to 2.5 Gbps in a sub 6 GHz 5G. A combination of 2CC LTE and 5G connectivity can increase downlink speed to about 3.55 Gbps. The 8-nanometer FinFET technology comprises of two high-performance Cortex A-77 processors and five other A-55 cores. For better gaming experience, the phone has been clubbed with Mali-G76 GPU.

Regarding camera specs, it is claimed to capture memories with a Magnus 108 MP rear camera. With the latest ISP (image signal processor) that supports five different sensors, the images will be rich in detail. In addition to finer image quality, the camera will also be able to shoot 4K UHD videos at 120 fps.

The 60 Hz refresh rate compared to 90/120 Hz is a major spoiler. With the introduction of 5G integrated processor, Samsung is pushing the boundaries for wider access to 5G technology.
