After the launch of Samsung’s latest smartphones in the A-series, Samsung A52, and A72. Samsung seems to widen this series by launching more two smartphones in the A-series. As per the leaks, the smartphone will be named Samsung Galaxy A22. Two versions of the same smartphone are expected to launch. One version supports 4G whereas another one supports 5G. Basically, both the smartphones are almost having the same specifications apart from 4G and 5G connectivity.
Recalling from the previous version, Samsung Galaxy A21 was a mid-range smartphone. We cannot expect much with this model considering the leaked specifications. The A22 5G smartphone has a 6.4-inch FHD+ LCD panel. It would be great if the display was AMOLED instead of LCD. The processor that could be used is rumored to be Dimensity 700 which is again a good processor at this price range.
A22 4G
On the other hand, its counterpart, A22 4G has a 6.4 inch FHD+ AMOLED display. The 5G connectivity in the A22 5G compromised with the display quality and type. Usually, companies do cost-cutting which brings the price of smartphones down. As we know AMOLED panels are quite expensive when compared with LCD panels. The processor on the other hand might be MediaTek Helio G80 which is also ok for normal usage.
Both the smartphones have a quad rear camera setup in a square cut-out design. It also has a LED flash in the rear panel. It has a 48 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP camera system. The selfie camera on the other hand is in waterdrop notch style. It has a 13 MP selfie camera. Both the smartphones are almost the same but they differ a little bit in their dimensions and weight. The A22 weighs 185 grams and its thickness is 8.5mm. On the other hand, the A22 5G weighs 205 grams and its thickness is 9mm. Similarly, both smartphones also have 5000 mAh batteries that support 15W fast charging.
