Apple HomePod is finally available for purchase in India. It was launched back in 2017 but is in sales in India in 2020. Apple has already started rolling out promotional emails. The Price is set at 19,999 INR which was already defined by Apple in previous events. Apple HomePod will also have the Indian Siri English voice which was added by apple this January.
The sales are available in India on apple’s official site and will be available in the apple stores as soon as possible. eCommerce website is yet to add this item to their stores.
Features of the HomePod is kind of similar to what Alexa and Google Pods do. Obviously it will be powered by Apple’s Official Siri. the 6.8 inches Pod is equipped with a high-excursion woofer that is equipped with a custom-engineered amplifier. It also supports AirPlay 2 Technology.
It includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MIMO and Bluetooth v5.0 for connectivity functions. The device also has an inbuilt battery, unlike Alexa and Google Assist. It can be connected to any iOS or Mac Devices for wireless control.
