The Redmi flagship killer, aka the Redmi K20, will be launched by Xiaomi next week. The company confirmed the launch of the Redmi K20 on May 28. This is the day when the Redmi K20 in Xiaomi’s home market, China, will go official. The Redmi K20 will also be coming to India. Xiaomi India confirmed last week that the Redmi K20 will be launching in India very soon with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.
The Indian launch date of the Redmi K20 has yet to be revealed, but we believe that the telephone may be available around June in the country. Before the launch, Managing Director Manu Jain of Xiaomi India revealed the Redmi K20’s first look. Jain revealed Wednesday’s first look at the Redmi K20 through a Twitter post.
In the photo posted by Jain the Redmi K20 appears in Red colour. We expect there will be other colour variants of the Redmi K20. The picture of the Redmi K20 also reveals some of the key details about the phone. The picture shows that the Redmi K20 will include triple cameras on the back panel followed by LED flash. The triple camera module is placed in the middle of the rear panel. The primary camera that is expected to sport a 48MP sensor is seen placed separately on the back, which is then followed by a dual camera setup placed inside the same module.
The Redmi K20 will feature a 6.39-inch display with the top of the Super AMOLED panel. The phone is said to offer 1080 x 2340p body ratio screen 91.2 percent and screen resolution. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 will protect the Redmi K20 screen.
On the front, a pop-up camera that should include a 20MP sensor may be included on the phone. The Redmi K20 is expected to come up with a 48MP primary sensor on the rear panel, 13MP secondary ultra-wide lens, and the third is an 8MP telephoto lens.
It is said that the Redmi K20 comes with 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage configuration. The phone will include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type C, 7th generation fingerprint optical in-display sensor. The Redmi K20 comes with a massive 4000mAh battery with fast support for up to 27W charging. On top of Android 9 Pie, the phone is said to run on MIUI 10.
