PUBG Mobile App Removed And Indian Servers Shut Down
On September 2, 2020, the IT Ministry of India banned PUBG Mobile. Further, PUBG Mobile was removed from the Android Play Store and the IOS App Store. Recently, Tencent shut down the Indian Servers also on October 30. India banned the app due to the clash with China on the border. Tencent, the Chinese company claimed that the app was no longer going to be available to the users.
Tencent took the decision of the shutdown because players were still able to play PUBG even after the bn. This was with the help of third-party websites. They were able to download it through PUBG Mobile APK on Android phones. Further, the uninstalled battle royale game was working perfectly well on the phone.
PUBG Mobile Still Working After Shutdown
Nevertheless, PUBG Mobile is still working even after the server shutdown. The reason for this can be the preparation of servers for the shutdown. But the chances are slim that this will continue for a long time.
Many players are able to install the app that has the game’s APK. They were able to play with a couple of other Indian players. Although there are a large number of bots in the game, the problems will be solved after the news of PUBG still working reaches the players. As of now, there has been no official statement from Tencent related to the working of the game.
