La Casa De Papel (Spanish Series) also called Money Heist gained a massive fan following due to the perfect blend of mystery, drama, and adventure. The series also has the perfect amount of romance and action. Due to this, it has got a rating of 8.4 on IMDB and 4.8 stats by the viewers. Now, it’s time for season 5?
The fourth season of Money Heist stepped up the action and the bloodshed. The fans expected season 4 to follow the same format as season 2 of wrapping up the heist after two seasons. But, this was not the case. There was a cliffhanger at the end of the fourth season. This gave way to Season 5. Also, the fans were left emotional after one of the main characters, Nairobi was killed off in season 4.
Netflix confirmed season 5 on July 31, announcing that Heist would come to an end. Since then, the fans have been waiting eagerly for the fifth and final season. There was only awaiting of nine months between season three and four. Further, if the same pattern continued the fans would have got season 5 by the end of 2020. But, it is believed season 5 will release in 2021. Although, Netflix has not confirmed this yet.
Money Heist Achievements
Money Heist got the Best Drama at the International Emmy Awards, Premios Fenix, and Premios Iris. The drama also got six more Iris awards. The Italian anti-fascist song ‘Bella Ciao’ which was played a couple of times during the series became a summer hit across Europe in 2018.
The ‘Professor’ character with his thick-rimmed glasses and long-styled hair impressed a lot of people around the world. Actors were seen posting videos of them singing the tunes of Bella Ciao and dressing up as ‘Professor’.

The show is created by Alex Pina. Netflix released the show in 2017. Although it gained its popularity only at the starting of 2020. Due to the pandemic, the rating of the show rose up.
The show revolves around The Professor, who is the criminal mastermind. He is accompanied by robbers who have the duty to complete the heist. The series depicts the situations of each and every character and what led them to choose the path of the world of crime.
Alex Pina confirmed the fifth season. He added that season 5 is back in action. According to reports the cast and crew have started working.
What Can We Expect From Season 5
There will be new faces to see in the upcoming season. They include Miguel Ángel Silvestre (Sky Rojo, Sense 8) and Patrick Criado.
Season 5 of Money Heist will catch up with the cliffhanger left at the end of Season 4. Professor got cornered by Inspector Alicia, while Lisbon was inside the bank. So, there is no way of escape left for Lisbon or the other. This means that they will have to keep melting gold at full speed and wish. Also, Sergio will have to find a way to trick Sierra and outwit her for good. There is also a situation regarding the Sneaky Easter egg. It also did not go unnoticed how one could hear ‘Bella Ciao’ playing while watching the credits.
It was pointed out by Oprah Magazine that actress Najwa Nimri sang the cover of the tune this time. Previously, only characters who fight by the side of Berlin and Sergio sang this song. This rises up the question that will Alicia join the group in the last season. There also have been some fan theories of Alicia being Berlin’s wife, Tatiana. Though, Diana Gómez plays the character of Tatiana and not Nimri.
Furthermore, Alex Pina told Oprah Magazine that, “We do have possibilities for some spinoffs, yes, and I think that’s thanks to the strong and powerful identities of the characters. We’ve always looked for characters o have a very complex, layered design. So I think almost every character of Money Heist has a duality that we would like to see in a spinoff. We could watch any of them in other contexts.”
Season 5 Trailer
No trailer has been released as of now. This is because filming has just begun. There is a possibility there will be a marketing teaser promo before the real sneak peek. Although it will take some time before the viewers will get new footage for Money Heist.
