The wait for the iPhone 12 series is officially over now. Apple has just launched their latest flagships for the year 2020. 4 different phones announced in the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Series; starting off with the iPhone 12 Mini, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Apple also announced a Smart Speaker, the Homepod Mini.
Apple on the other hand has announced their new series of accessories, The MagSafe. The MagSafe includes a wireless charger that can stick right onto the back of your device, a phone sleeve, and a magnetic wallet that can stick to the back of your phone providing easy access to cards and cash.
The A14 Bionic chip is going to debut in the iPhones. The A14 chip already made an official debut in the iPad Air which released in Fall, this year. Apple claims that the A14 Bionic is the first chipset globally built on the new 5nm process. They have quoted a performance improvement of 40% in CPU processes and a 30% boost in graphics compared to its predecessor A13 Bionic Chip.
Apple has made a huge change in their packaging keeping in mind the environmental conditions, they’ve decided to cut down on the Power Adapter and the Earpods to reduce tons of E-Waste produced each year.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max, this latest 2020 flagship by Apple comes in 2 different screen size variants, with the iPhone 12 Pro having a 6.1-inch display whereas the iPhone 12 Pro Max would be having 6.7 inches, Super Retina XDR OLED Display. In addition to this, these devices also come with HDR10+ support. This 2020 flagship comes packed with the latest iOS 14 and is a powerhouse as it comes with the A14 Bionic chip which is based on the latest 5nm technology and has 5g capabilities which make the iPhone 12 Pro Series future-ready. The iPhone 12 pro and pro max comes in 3 different storage variants, 128GB 6GB RAM, 256GB 6GB RAM, 512GB 6GB RAM.
The device comes with a Triple-camera set-up. 12 MP, f/1.6, 26mm(main) which comes with dual pixel PDAF and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), 12 MP, f/1.8, 65mm (telephoto) which brings the support of DAF, OIS,2.5x optical zoom, 12 MP, f/2.2, 13mm (ultrawide). Other than that the iPhone 12 Pro series comes with a 3D LiDAR scanner (depth).
This triple-camera setup allows the users to shoot videos in 4K@24/30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/120/240fps alongside few additional features like HDR and Dolby vision making it the first phone in the industry with this feature. The selfie camera comes in a dual setup with 12 MP, f/2.2, 23mm (wide), and an SL 3D, (depth/biometrics sensor). The device comes with an improved Face ID as biometric security. There would be 4 different color options to choose from. The iPhone 12 Pro starts from $999 whilst the iPhone 12 Pro Max starts from $1099 making it the most expensive Apple flagship of the year.
iPhone 12 Series
Coming down the price ladder, we have the iPhone 12 series. The iPhone 12 series comes in 2 different screen sizes to choose from. There’s an iPhone 12 which has a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED Display. The iPhone 12 Mini which comes with an incredibly handy size of 5.4 Inches alongside the Super Retina XDR OLED Display technology. The phones have an Aluminium frame alongside Glass (Front+ Back). The iPhone 12 series also comes with the Ceramic Shield Protection.
The iPhone 12 series is packed with a dual-camera setup. A 12MP (Ultrawide), f/2.4, 13mm, and a 12MP (Wide), f/1.6, 26mm, OIS. There are the same video recording capabilities as mentioned in the above models. The iPhone 12 series runs on the same A14 Bionic chipset (5nm) alongside running on the iOS 14. There are going to be 5 various color variations to choose from. The iPhone 12 Pro is going to be available from $799 whereas the iPhone 12 Mini would be available at just $699.
Homepod Mini
Apple announced its brand new Smart Speaker comes with Siri. The Speaker is made up of a Seamless Mesh Fabrics design alongside a backlight torch surface which includes Touch Controls. Apple has used its S5 chipset in these speakers for seamless entertainment. With the help of the S5 chipset, Apple has also developed a Computation Audio technology which enhances the Audio experience for the user. Apple has also claimed that the product is being made by keeping Privacy and Security at priority. The product is supposed to come in 2 color options, which are, White and Space Grey just at $99 each.
