Epic Games server crashed due to overload. This happened after GTA V was made free for download today. GTA V is the best game out in the GTA series and costs about 27$ when not free.
This resulted in the temporary downfall of Fortnite servers. The announcement was made at 4 PM GST. Epic Games Store faced slowdowns, crashes shortly after GTA V was free. Although Epic claims the issue to be solved still many users are experiencing unusual glitches.
“We are currently experiencing high traffic on the Epic Games Store, We are aware that users may be encountering slow loading times, 500 errors, or launchers crashing at this time and we are actively working to scale. We’ll provide an update as soon as we can.”
Those who don’t know Epic Games are known for giving out surprise games for free. Fortunately it was GTA V this time. You all can redeem this game by 21st May 2020. You just need to download the epic game launcher from chrome.
More and more tweets were rushed once the servers went down. Memes were flooded due to this issue. It took about 12 hours to get the problem solved.
