Instagram was reportedly working on web-based DM functionality and now, Instagram has finally rolled out the feature amid coronavirus outbreak. Not only Instagram has brought direct messages for the web but also Instagram Live functionality is now available for PC users.
Instagram was working on the feature from the past four months and Insta announced the feature via its twitter handle.

The DM interface is the same as that of the mobile app with similar functionalities. The feature is available globally for every Instagrammer. The live video feature is also having the same UI as that of the mobile user. Now it will become easier for desktop users to send Instagram DMs and use the live feature.
