Coronavirus pandemic is increasing day by day and many telecom companies already started offering Work@Home packs. Last week, Reliance Jio and BSNL offer discounted data packs to their customers while now Vodafone will serve more than 500K members with unlimited data for free.
Free Internet to 500K+ Customers
Vodafone UK announced that they will offer unlimited data to its most vulnerable users and 500K customers in the UK region. Such a gesture will help users to connect to the internet even if they don’t have any data pack.
We are offering 30 days of unlimited free data to our most vulnerable customers and the first 500,000 customers to sign up, to help ease any worries about running out of data or incurring additional charges. If our network capacity allows, we would love to be able to offer this to even more customers and will be monitoring the feasibility of this. In short, if we have more to give, we will. This is one of a series of measures that we are taking to help.
Nick Jeffery, Vodafone UK CEO
Users can sign up for this offer by downloading My Vodafone App and by enrolling in the VeryMe reward scheme. Out of the 19.5M UK customers, the first half-million will be benefitted from this offer. Vulnerable users will be contacted by the company itself.
