Redmi Note 9 series is officially planned to announce on March 12, and this time the new generation devices from Redmi will be having some more advanced features than the existing ones. It is tipped that the Redmi Note 9 Pro will be the first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 800 Processor while its lower version the Redmi Note 9, is rumored to have Snapdragon 720G Processor according to Weibo.
The MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor is intended for mid-range smartphones with a boost of 5G network connectivity. But, we still don’t know whether the Indian variant will same specifications or not because there is a lack of a 5G network in India. This processor is mostly meant for the china market.
Speaking of the specifications, we still don’t know officially about them. But one thing is sure that this will compete for the newly launched Realme 6 Pro which features the Snapdragon 720G Processor. So, the Note 9 lineup could feature this SoC.
Also, back in February Xiaomi had announced that it’ll be using NavIC on its new Redmi Phones which they’ll launch in March. So, the Redmi Note 9 series is confirmed to have the NavIC navigation system which is developed by ISRO. Due to this, Realme launched its 6 Pro & X50 Pro (5G) also features this NavIC navigation.
Moreover, as per some recent leaks, it is suggested that the Redmi Note 9 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. It is also suggested that it will be having two RAM & Storage variants (i.e., 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB). Also, it will be available in three different colors Glacier White, Aurora Blue, and Interstellar Black.
According to Ben Geskin on Twitter, Redmi Note 9 Pro is claimed to have the concept of a quad rear square-shaped camera module with a dual-LED flash just below it and a punch-hole camera on the front. And the phone will feature little bezels which will not give a clean look.
