Poco F2 has been in rumors since 2018, after which Xiaomi launched the K20 series in a similar price bracket and we began to wonder if the Poco series was abandoned. Recently Xiaomi announced that Poco will be an independent company, shortly after which we have got some leaked images and rumors about three devices under the name of Poco F2.
After the announcement of Poco being an independent company, Indian tech YouTube channel RevAtlas
received an email from an unknown user claiming to have live photos of Poco F2 Lite. The mail also hinted about three Poco F2 devices.
There were three attached images shot from poor angles, as seen in leaked images. One image showing the front of the phone is blurry, and the phone resembles Redmi Note 7 Pro. Another image includes a shot of the about screen, well half of it, which states the device name as Poco F2 Lite and running an MIUI version for Poco phones.
The tipster mentioned in the email about specifications that the Poco F2 Lite will run on Snapdragon 765 SoC having 6GB of RAM and a 5000mAh battery. The mail also included a statement like “a high resolution very high “camera, and a line said “millet model price cheaper than before”. The last statement seems a bit off as the Poco F1 launched for Rs 20,999, and cheaper than this would be a little off for the specifications.
I wouldn’t completely trust these leaks until any further news or leaks, as the image of the front can be a modded Redmi Note 7 Pro. Recently Poco X2 showed up on Geekbench with scores similar to that of the Snapdragon 730G SoC.
