With all the craze about mobile gaming and smartphone manufacturers launching their own lineup of gaming phones, it’s no surprise that more companies would follow in the trend. Lenovo is now in the works of making a Legion branded gaming phone
Lenovo has started a social media page under the name of Legion on China’s Weibo. Legion is Lenovo’s lineup of gaming peripherals and laptops. The page hasn’t shown any information about a gaming phone yet, but it likely take on Asus’ ROG phone 2 which was and is a huge deal in gaming smartphones.
The Asus ROG phone 2 is one of the best gaming smartphones out there with the Snapdragon 855 plus chipset and also one of the cheapest with it. The next generation in the Snapdragon series is called the Snapdragon 865, which is already confirmed for the next Nubia gaming phone. It may also come in smartphone brands like Black shark, ROG phone, OnePlus.
The Legion gaming smartphone can be launched sometime later in 2020, and we can expect gaming features like liquid cooling, high capacity battery, high refresh rate display and most important nowadays is RGB. The Legion smartphone could also be a come back for Lenovo in the smartphone department as it doesn’t seem to be doing well
