LG G8 ThinQ’s successor the G8x ThinQ which launched at IFA 2019 in September, has been launched in India. The phone is priced at Rs. 49,999 in India available from 21st December 2019, and in the Aurora Black color variant only.
The phone comes with two screens rather than a foldable one. If you get bored by the dual screens, you can simply remove it and use it as a normal smartphone.
Specifications
The LG G8x ThinQ has a 6.4-inch FHD plus OLED screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The second screen has got similar specs and is attached to the main device, and a 2.1-inch mono display to display date, time, and notifications on the front. It has got an IP68 dust and water resistance rating and got an in-Display fingerprint sensor. The hinge mechanism allows 360-degree rotation and LG has got a list of different degrees for various positions.
The phone has got the Snapdragon 855 processor and 6GBs of RAM. It has got 128GBs of storage and 2TB support on the microSD card side. The Android version is 9.0 (Pie). The phone has a dual-camera setup at the back which contains a 12MP standard shooter and a 13MP super-wide-angle sensor. The front-facing camera is a 32MP lens. The phone has also got Type-C, stereo speakers, and a 4,000mAh battery.
